Hydroponics nutrient solutions are blended from mineral salts and are formulated to contain all the mineral elements needed for plant growth. Green plants can only take up elements which are exactly the same whether they come from manure or from a nutrient solution.
Recent research has confirmed that the food value of hydroponics produce is at least as high as the soil grown alternatively and in many cases it is superior.
