This is a distinctly different medium and requires a specialised nutrient solution to get the best results. There are very few nutrient products on the market designed specifically for rockwool but if you can find one you should use it.
Most nutrient solution are formulated for rockwool. These nutrients are now available from Esoteric Hydroponics.
